Mitsubishi Electric Named to CDP Supplier Engagement Leader

Second top-ranking designation in 2021, along with climate-change leader

TOKYO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (TOKYO: 6503) announced today that its environmental efforts related to supply chains have earned the company designation as a 2021 “Supplier engagement leader,” the highest ranking in the CDP Supplier Engagement program operated by CDP, an international non-governmental organization that supports environmental disclosure. This is the fifth year in which Mitsubishi Electric has earned a top ranking for excellent actions and strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and climate-change risk throughout its supply chain.

Mitsubishi Electric also received a top “A List” designation in the 2021 Climate Change category, as announced on December 10, 2021.
