SAN FRANCISCO--()--Vida Health, announced today that Drs. Krysti Lan Chi Vo and Richard Frank have joined the organization as VP, Head of Psychiatry, and SVP of Medical Affairs, respectively. The additions boost Vida’s clinical team as it doubles down on providing value-based care to its members and clients.

“It’s clear that shifting to a value-based care model is key to fixing healthcare in America and that Medicare is an ideal medium for showing what a future of continuous, coordinated, risk-based care can really do,” said Vida Health Chief Medical Officer Dr. Patrick Carroll. “By adding these two medical leaders, Vida is doubling down on our commitment to meaningful outcomes, meaningful savings, and meaningful change in healthcare.”

Dr. Frank is a physician executive with more than 25 years of provider and payer experience. He has previously served as the VP of HealthCare Management for Anthem’s Government Business Division, the Chief Medical Officer of Aspire Health, and the Chief Innovation Officer of myNEXUS. Dr. Frank has significant experience managing the quality of care, healthcare utilization, and medical expense of high-risk, polychronic Medicare and Medicaid populations. He is a board-certified anesthesiologist, having completed his medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School, and earned a master’s degree in Health Services Administration at the University of Michigan's School of Public Health.

Dr. Vo is a double-board certified physician who specializes in adult and adolescent psychiatry. She joins Vida after serving as the Medical Director of Telehealth Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Services for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and faculty at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. While at CHOP, Dr. Vo led the development of its telehealth services, including telepsychiatry services for patients at primary care sites using the collaborative care model, which includes working with primary care clinicians. She currently serves on the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) Health Information Technology Committee and Telepsychiatry Committee. She earned her medical degree with distinction in research from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and completed her adult psychiatry residency at Emory University’s School of Medicine in Atlanta and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital.
