Cabot Properties Appoints Hobey Stuart, Carey Herrlinger and Nicholas Snow as Managing Directors

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cabot Properties Inc., a leading investor, developer and operator of logistics properties throughout the United States, Europe and Australia, is pleased to announce that Hobey Stuart, Carey Herrlinger and Nicholas Snow have been promoted to Managing Director.

Stuart, Herrlinger and Snow all have long tenures at Cabot and have played an integral role in fueling the firm’s growth. Each has led critical initiatives that have meaningfully contributed to Cabot’s relationships, culture and investment outcomes. They join Cabot’s expanding roster of Managing Directors who have risen through the firm’s ranks and are responsible for helping to drive its continued evolution by cultivating the next generation of senior leaders.

“Hobey, Carey and Nick’s promotions are well deserved as they consistently perform at a high level and exemplify the leadership qualities and investor-first mentality that our colleagues and investors value,” said Franz Colloredo-Mansfeld, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cabot. “Their career trajectories at Cabot are a perfect example of how we strive to foster an environment that identifies and rewards talent. It has always been our view that investing in our people – our most valuable asset – best positions us to deliver superior returns for our investors.”

Stuart, who joined Cabot in 2007, was also named as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer, a position formerly held by Mark Bechard, the firm’s President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to assuming these responsibilities, Stuart served as a Director in Cabot’s finance department, and before that was a member of the firm’s asset management team. Under his leadership, Cabot’s finance department has developed financing strategies to support the firm’s growing range of investment programs across the U.S., Europe and Australia.

As Managing Director of Investments, Midwest, Herrlinger oversees Cabot’s investment activity in the region. He joined the firm more than 10 years ago as an investment analyst for the Midwest and has been highly effective, having acquired 86 properties totaling approximately 20 million square feet. During his tenure, Herrlinger has played a vital role in many of Cabot’s critical efforts, including its ESG committee and the disposition of the firm’s Value Fund V.

Snow’s distinguished career started with Cabot’s internship program before joining the firm’s Investment team in 2014. Since that time, he has helped to formulate, communicate and grow Cabot’s Core investment strategy and led the initiative to launch the firm’s separate account program in 2018. Snow now leads Cabot’s Investor Relations team and is responsible for capital raising, business development, and strategic initiatives.
