Cotton Holdings, Inc. Announces Promotion of Jeff Erler From General Counsel to Chief Legal Officer as Company Expands Its Burgeoning Leadership Team

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, Cotton Holdings, Inc. announced that Jeff Erler, formerly General Counsel, has been promoted to Chief Legal Officer, reporting directly to Pete Bell, Founder and CEO, effective immediately. He is the first person to hold the position with the company. Mr. Erler will continue to lead the company’s legal and risk departments, with responsibility for all legal, regulatory, governance and compliance matters and strategies, including a particular focus on the Company’s organic and acquisitive growth strategies.

With more than 25 years of experience, Mr. Erler is a proven solutions-oriented advisor to clients in both public and private arenas. For the past 15 years, Mr. Erler has had a significant role in all of Cotton’s transactions and legal matters, even before joining Cotton as General Counsel in 2016 to establish and build the Company’s legal and risk departments. Mr. Erler received a Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University and B.A. in Business Administration from Texas A&M University.
