Quickbase Acquires MCF Technology Solutions, Capitalizes on Market Demand from High-Growth Industries

The acquisition extends services and expertise to better serve customers across retail, construction, real estate, energy and others

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Quickbase, the provider of software that helps organizations see, connect and control every element of complex projects, today announced its acquisition of MCF Technology Solutions (MCF). With the acquisition, the company is growing its service offerings and extending its leadership to better meet market demand for software to support the global boom in building and infrastructure.

As a long-standing Quickbase Solutions Provider, MCF has a combination of deep technical expertise to help customers make the most of the Quickbase platform, as well as vertical experience in retail, construction, manufacturing, utilities and more. Together, the companies have served more than 100 shared customers, including several Fortune 100 companies.

"We're in the midst of a massive transformation of the built environment, and the industries responsible for building and operating the places we live and work need software fit for the unique and complex projects they’re tackling,” said Ed Jennings, CEO, Quickbase. “Together with MCF, we’ve worked with many companies in this space, enabling them to deliver on multi-dimensional, critical initiatives faster, cheaper and safer. The problems these industries face have long existed, but the recent building boom and infrastructure bill brought these issues into the mainstream conversation. We have tremendous respect for MCF’s expertise in this area, and we couldn’t be happier to welcome them to our team.”

Building off this incredible surge in market demand, the MCF acquisition will allow Quickbase to incorporate and offer MCF’s extensive expertise and existing library of vertical-specific application templates built on the Quickbase platform, strengthening the company’s ability to meet customer needs.

“Everyday we help companies who are literally building the world we live in solve complex, high-stakes problems,” Mike Hansborough, CEO of MCF, said. “I am a firm believer that organizations should never settle for software that doesn’t fully support the way they need to work, which is why we’re thrilled to join forces with Quickbase and help these organizations create transformational solutions as unique and complex as their processes.”
