Dunn Investment Co. Promotes Evans Dunn to VP/Business Development

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dunn Investment Company, owner of one of America’s oldest contracting businesses and holding company of multiple operating businesses located throughout the Southeast announced today the appointment Evans Dunn as Vice President of Business Development.

Craig Fleming, Executive Vice President of Eastern Operations at Dunn, said, “As our overall business grows, we have a unique opportunity to create stronger connections and to better serve our customers and communities on a broader scale both geographically and through available services. Evans is uniquely talented and capable of doing just that.”

In his new role, Mr. Dunn will be responsible for linking and strengthening the business development efforts of Dunn’s various operating companies, which specialize in infrastructure services throughout the Southeast, including roadbuilding and paving, ready mixed concrete, civil construction, building construction, and real estate investment and development.

Mr. Dunn began his career at Dunn Construction Company in 2004 after working for 12 years at Royal Cup Coffee. He has effectively served as Estimator, Project Manager, Vice President of Estimating, and most recently Vice President and General Manager at DCC. He is a 1991 graduate of the University of Alabama where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing degree. He is currently on the Executive Committee of the Associated Builders and Contractors of Alabama, current President of the Alabama Asphalt Pavement Association, and incoming 2022 President of the Alabama AGC. He also serves on the board of the Alabama Road Builders Association.
