Erik Hotmire Joins Merged Finsbury Glover Hering and Sard Verbinnen as Managing Director

Brings More than Two Decades of Experience as High Stakes Strategic Advisor

NEW YORK--()--Finsbury Glover Hering (“FGH”) and Sard Verbinnen & Co (“SVC”), which recently merged to create a premier global strategic communications firm, today announced that corporate, crisis and litigation communications veteran Erik Hotmire has joined the firm as Managing Director. He is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. and New York offices. Erik most recently served as Senior Managing Director at Teneo, where he advised clients on a wide range of critical issues.

Erik Hotmire advises some of the world’s largest organizations on critical issues, including crisis, litigation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate positioning, leadership transition, geopolitical and regulatory matters.

Prior to joining Teneo, he was Partner at Brunswick Group, where he co-led their global Financial Institutions Group. Earlier, Erik served as Senior Advisor to the Chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Senior Advisor to the SEC's Division of Enforcement, Special Assistant to President George W. Bush and White House spokesperson, Director at public affairs firm Clark & Weinstock and spokesperson for two U.S. Senators. He began his career in radio and television journalism.

Erik has advised clients through their most pressing challenges and biggest opportunities across the banking, insurance, asset management, fintech, energy, health care, industrials and technology sectors.

Erik serves on the Board of Trustees of Aspen Institute Germany and is a member of the Board of Visitors of The Fund for American Studies’ programs on public policy and international affairs.
