David S.J. Wightman Joins Alliant

Construction and Surety Specialist Named Senior Vice President

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Alliant Insurance Services has announced David Wightman has joined the company as Senior Vice President. With more than 35 years of experience in the insurance industry, Wightman is a skilled surety broker in both the construction and energy sectors. In his new role, Wightman will focus on serving the needs of domestic and international surety clients within the construction industry.

Prior to joining Alliant, Wightman served as Senior Vice President and West Region Surety Practice Leader for a global insurance brokerage. Prior to his brokerage career, Wightman led the Texas contract surety operations for Travelers, where he spent 20 years.

Wightman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Wightman holds designations as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and an Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bonding (AFSB). Additionally, Wightman served as National Officer and President for the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) and is an active member of CFMA’s Houston Chapter.
