Former CMS Chief Information Officer Tony Trenkle Joins Board of Onyx Technology

Trenkle brings extensive federal experience to Onyx’s industry leading health data interoperability platform

ELKRIDGE, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Onyx Technology, LLC, a NewWave company, is pleased to announce that Tony Trenkle, former Chief Information Officer for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and former Chief Health Information Officer for IBM Global Healthcare, has joined its Advisory Board. Trenkle is a nationally recognized health IT leader with a successful record of more than 20 years of leading high-priority initiatives in the public and private sectors. Trenkle also led CMS’ e-health initiatives, including the HITECH Electronic Health Record (EHR) incentive program, and the implementation healthcare industry-wide regulations forICD-10, e-prescribing, and X12-5010.
