WAVE Announces First Round of Progressive Endorsements for Key 2022 Midterm Races

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Women for American Values and Ethics Political Action Committee (WAVE PAC) today announced its first round of endorsements for the 2022 midterm elections totaling $36,000. These 12 candidates reflect WAVE’s progressive values and demonstrate excellent leadership within their communities. Candidates endorsed include:

Harley Rouda, U.S. Representative, 48th District
Mike Levin, U.S. Representative, 49th District

Pete Hardin, Orange County District Attorney
Joe Kerr, Orange County Board of Supervisors, 5th District

Dr. Kathleen Treseder, City Council, City of Irvine

WAVE, which endorsed 42 progressive leaders for positions on local, state, and federal levels during the 2020 elections, is a non-partisan political action committee that aims to advance political candidates, organizations and policies that support progressive American values and ethics. To qualify for endorsement, candidates must have a proven track record of upholding the rights of immigrants, women, and the LGBTQ community; supporting climate change science and environmental protections; and, opposing policies that weaken our healthcare laws, gun safety and freedom of the press.
