Databook Announces Key Hire as Bruno Fonzi Joins the Company as Vice President of Engineering

Seasoned Executive to Scale Databook's Development Roadmap

PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Databook, the leading platform in enterprise customer intelligence, today announced that Bruno Fonzi has been named the company’s Vice President of Engineering. Fonzi will report to Databook CTO Neil Smith and is responsible for building the Company’s engineering team with a focus on the core application and systems.

Databook is an AI-powered SaaS platform that builds customer intelligence on top of CRM. Every member of a go-to-market team gains insights to efficiently identify target accounts, track progress against sales quotas, provide insights to increase deal size, shorten research cycle times and assist in converting a prospect to a customer. The result is high-value, large enterprise sales.

Fonzi brings over 25 years of software development experience to Databook. Most recently, he worked at Salesforce, where he led the MuleSoft Composer application development team. Prior roles at Salesforce include Automation Platform, IoT Cloud, Insights, and Lightning UX engineering teams. Bruno was the cofounder of Lanica, a cross-platform gaming environment for JavaScript Developers. He has extensive international experience having worked in Italy, France, Germany, UK, Australia, and the United States.

Bruno has a Master’s Degree in Business and Technology from the UNSW Sydney, Australia, and a Computer Science degree from the London Metropolitan University.
