Tom Truszinski Named Next CEO of Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge
Truszinski will assume new role in 2022
MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge (MnTC) has announced that Tom Truszinski will become its next CEO. Truszinski is a long-term leader at MnTC and has worked as the center director of the organization’s Rochester campus for the past eight years. Before joining MnTC, Truszinski served as an executive in a financial firm. In addition, he was outreach pastor for Cedar Valley church.
“Following a comprehensive selection process, our board unanimously selected Tom Truszinski to succeed Rich Scherber as our CEO,” says Eric Vagle, president of Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge. “Tom’s heart for helping those struggling with substance use disorder, his business expertise, and his experience leading our Rochester campus made him the perfect choice for CEO.”
Truszinski will build on the foundation set by Pastor Rich Scherber, who has served as CEO of the organization for the past 30 years. Pastor Rich will remain involved with the organization, taking on roles that allow greater flexibility and work-life balance.
“We have been preparing for this transition for quite a while,” adds Eric Vagle. “Our mission is far broader than one person; it’s about all of us. While we will have a new CEO next year, we will have continuity in our senior leadership team and board and will continue to serve our clients the same as always.”
The transition of roles will occur sometime in 2022.
