Thousands Convene Virtually for NextGen Healthcare’s 24th Annual User Group Meeting

UGM 2021 Features 80 Live Sessions, 20+ New Discussion Forums, and Inspirational Keynote Speakers

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NextGen Healthcare, Inc. (Nasdaq: NXGN), a leading provider of ambulatory-focused technology solutions, officially kicked off its 24^th annual User Group Meeting (UGM) today with thousands of clients registered to access content during the mega-conference’s second virtual iteration, which runs through Nov. 10. The theme for UGM 2021 is “ENGAGE”—a dual call to action for attendees to explore insights, trends and policies affecting ambulatory practices in today’s complex healthcare environment and to leverage technology to optimize engagement with their patients.

UGM 2021 commences with a keynote by Marty Makary, M.D., who was named one of the most influential people in healthcare by Health magazine. A New York Times best-selling author, Dr. Makary is a gastrointestinal surgeon, researcher and associate professor of health policy and management at Johns Hopkins University. The event will close with a keynote by Paralympic medalist Amy Purdy, whose spiritual awakening following the blood infection that caused her to lose both her legs is awe-inspiring. Registrants can choose from more than 80 live breakout sessions and 100 on-demand sessions, many of which offer CME/CNE credit. All session content and replays will be available through January 31, 2022.

New this year: Clients can select from among 20 discussion forums with peers and industry leaders, take part in 1:1 meetings with solutions experts during “office hours,” and register for sessions and pre-schedule appointments with NextGen Healthcare professional services experts. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to chat live and/or pre-schedule appointments with NextGen Healthcare partners and win prizes in fun networking and session challenges.
