TriMas Board Member Herbert Parker Recognized as One of the Most Influential Black Corporate Directors by Savoy Magazine

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TriMas (NASDAQ: TRS) today announced that Herbert Parker, a member of TriMas’ Board of Directors and Audit Committee Chairman, has been named to Savoy Magazine’s 2021 Most Influential Black Corporate Directors list. Mr. Parker is featured in Savoy Magazine’s Fall 2021 issue, alongside a distinguished list of black influencers and achievers that have positively impacted corporate America.

Mr. Parker joined the TriMas Board of Directors in 2015 and currently chairs the TriMas Audit Committee. From 2015 to 2017, Mr. Parker served as Executive Vice President of Operational Excellence of Harman International Industries, Inc., a worldwide leader in the development, manufacture and marketing of high quality, high-fidelity audio products, lighting solutions and electronic systems. Previously, Mr. Parker served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Harman International from 2008 to 2015. Prior to joining Harman International, Mr. Parker served in various senior financial positions with ABB Ltd., a global power and technology company, including as Chief Financial Officer of the global automation division from 2002 to 2005, and the Americas region from 2006 to 2008.
