The Information Systems Security Association Announces Recipients of 2021 ISSA Awards

ISSA concludes annual recognition of outstanding information security professionals, their companies, and chapters at the top of their respective games

VIENNA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), the premier non-profit cybersecurity professional association, honored recipients of the 2021 ISSA Awards at its Virtual Gala last week. ISSA annually recognizes excellence in information security professionals, the companies they work for, and the chapters to which they belong.

“For over 20 years ISSA has recognized the individuals working hard to advance their skills and the cybersecurity profession at large in the mission to protect organizations around the world from cyber threats,” said Candy Alexander, Board President, ISSA International. “With each passing year the cybersecurity challenges continue to increase and we are honored to recognize the individuals who are facing these challenges head on. Hall of Fame is a lifetime achievement award recognizing an individual's exceptional qualities of leadership in their own career and organization as well as an exemplary commitment to the information security profession.
