GTA Babelfish, LLC Announces New Algorithm Assessment Tool for Investment Managers and Traders

RUTHERFORD, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GTA Babelfish,LLC (GTAB), a leader in the Trading Cost Analysis (TCA) and Routing/Venue Analysis (RVA) field, is pleased to announce its new Routing/Venue Analysis (RVA) assessment product line, aptly named “Algo Vista.” GTAB’s Algo Vista product line is making Routing/Venue Analysis (RVA) accessible to more investment managers and traders than ever before through the introduction of additional service-level options and more flexible pricing.

GTA Babelfish’s Algo Vista product line was designed to deliver the appropriate level of Routing/Venue analysis based on each client’s individual requirements. For the first time, clients can customize their Routing/Venue analysis based on how much insight they need into their inherently opaque, but critically important, algo trading process. GTA Babelfish’s Algo Vista product line is also useful for portfolio managers who are interested in better understanding their algos’ characteristics and challenges and how they affect the portfolio construction process.

“Global algorithmic trading has grown significantly, and is projected to continue to grow for the foreseeable future. The problem is that it’s hard to separate the marketing from the reality. So not only does a trader have to worry about choosing the right algorithm, but they also have to worry about that algorithm doing what it’s supposed to do,” said Jeff Alexander, Partner at GTA Babelfish. “With Algo Vista, clients can now analyze as much or as little of their algorithmic process as necessary to ensure proper and efficient execution.”

The head trader at a well-known buy-side firm commented, “No other firm is offering this type of service in the market.”
