Dr. Jason Kirby Joins Landmark Recovery as New Chief Medical Officer

FRANKLIN, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Landmark Recovery, an evidence-based addiction treatment organization, today announced the appointment of Jason Kirby, DO, MBA, as the organization’s new chief medical officer. An expert in population health policy and dual board-certified in addiction medicine and family medicine, Dr. Kirby will oversee Landmark’s best-in-class medical team, medical strategy, and standards for patient care nationally.

“Quality of patient care is at the core of Landmark’s recovery programs,” said Matt Boyle, CEO of Landmark Recovery. “Landmark believes Dr. Kirby’s unique experience in both addiction medicine and health policy will help advance the efforts necessary to provide the best individualized treatment options to our patients nationwide.”

Kirby previously served as medical director of addiction and recovery services at St. Peter’s Health Partners in Albany, NY, and practiced at St. Peter’s Hospital as the chief of behavioral health. “I’m passionate about evidence-based medicine. Landmark’s systematic, data-driven approach to treatment really attracted me to the organization,” said Dr. Kirby. “Research shows medically-supervised treatment can save lives and creating an all-inclusive approach that best supports the individual’s continuum of care is my priority.”

A Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM), Dr. Kirby serves on both its financial committee and level of care committee and is a faculty member for ASAM’s treatment of opioid use disorder courses.
