Forbes Unveils State-of-the-Art Enhancements to Its Event Space – Forbes on Fifth

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Forbes today debuted a series of enhancements to its Forbes on Fifth entertainment space - located at 24 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. The 7,500 square foot venue has recently been outfitted with a state-of-the-art studio installation, inclusive of a new content set, programming stage and a multi-camera video control system enabling high-quality content capture and live streaming.

“With the current state of events, we felt the need to look ahead and adapt our space so that we’re able to offer our audiences and marketing partners an opportunity to connect in a safe, smart way – whether it’s through an in-person gathering or using the space to capture an event that can be streamed online or mix of both,” said Sherry Phillips, CMO, Forbes. “These upgrades to Forbes on Fifth highlight our brand’s commitment to innovation and fostering deeper connections with our communities through premium thought leadership content and real-time publishing, at scale.”

The enhancements will enable Forbes to tailor events for a hybrid event world – offering top-of-the-line technology for streaming, capturing remote-in speaker conversations, in-person and more. Most events at Forbes on Fifth are presented by brands that do business and advertise with Forbes, and the space will offer enhanced branding capabilities for Forbes marketing partners.

In addition, Forbes has added the “Malcolm Forbes Studio” to Forbes on Fifth – a new modern, private studio space for capturing premium photography and video for all of Forbes’ platforms.

“We’ve come a long way since we first launched Forbes on Fifth more than five years ago,” said Leann Bonanno, Group VP, ForbesLive. “Over the years we’ve organized countless events here – including Summits, dinners, parties and custom events. These upgrades are taking our events to the next level and allowing us to bring people together in truly unique ways.”

ForbesLive events include thoughtfully curated premium content and unique experiences for Forbes’ coveted audiences, from C-suite executives to small-business leaders, entrepreneurs and business decision-makers. Designed to help drive systemic change in business, culture and society, the events reflect Forbes’ mission of championing the entrepreneurs and leaders who are helping the world build back in 2021 and beyond, with themes centered around uncovering innovative solutions in healthcare, advancing opportunities for women and BIPOC, determining how tech will play a role in the future of work and discovering the most impactful ways philanthropists can create true equality.

Over the last 18 months, ForbesLive pivoted to virtual, creating enduring, interactive experiences that are now a core component of Forbes’ business strategy for driving engagement with the communities that matter most. In the first half of 2021, Forbes held 45 events, engaging over 40,000 people from over 160 countries worldwide.

Currently, Forbes is planning to resume in-person events at Forbes on Fifth starting this fall, including the first-ever Forbes 50 Over 50, in partnership with Mika Brzezinski and her Know Your Value platform. The health and safety of attendees, employees, vendors and talent are the highest priority, and the ForbesLive team is actively developing safety protocols for these events and closely monitoring CDC and local health officials’ guidance, while simultaneously working closely with third party experts in health and safety. At this time, all attendees of in-person events must be fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to the event date to be in attendance and will be required to provide proof of vaccination in advance of attending. Additional health and safety requirements may be implemented as a requirement of attendance.
