Yossi Cohen Joins Centerview Partners

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Centerview Partners, a leading independent investment banking advisory firm, announced today that Yossi Cohen is joining the firm as a senior advisor.

Mr. Cohen has had a distinguished career in public service, most recently as Director of the Institute of Intelligence and Special Tasks, otherwise known as the Mossad, Israel’s national intelligence agency. As Director, Mr. Cohen oversaw a number of successful intelligence operations and was recognized for his leadership in Israel’s procurement of vital medical equipment during the Covid-19 pandemic. Prior to his position as Director, Mr. Cohen was handpicked by then Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu to serve as Israel’s National Security Advisor and Head of National Security, a post he held from 2013 to 2016. Over the course of his nearly forty-year career with the Mossad, Mr. Cohen has been recognized as a trusted leader and was awarded the prestigious Israel Defense Prize. Mr. Cohen also serves as an advisor to SoftBank Investment Advisers.

Mr. Cohen holds a B.A. in Social Sciences, summa cum laude, at Bar Ilan University and in 2021 was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from Bar Illan University in recognition of his decades of service to the security of the State of Israel.
