Current Health Bolsters Executive Bench to Accelerate Growth

Chief Strategy Officer, Chief Customer Officer, and VP of Marketing hired to support adoption and scale of company’s care-at-home platform

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Current Health, the leading enterprise care-at-home platform, today announced three additions to its executive team: Chris Pilkington, Chief Strategy Officer; Sarah Joyce, Chief Customer Officer; and Lauren Levinsky, VP of Marketing. These appointments follow a year of record sales and revenue for the company, as well as major milestones including a $43M Series B fundraise in April 2021. Pilkington, Joyce, and Levinsky will play instrumental roles in charting Current Health’s growth as healthcare organizations increasingly look to deliver care at home to enable better patient outcomes and lower cost of care.

Pilkington brings more than 20 years of experience introducing enterprise-scale digital health innovation to commercial and government environments. He has co-founded several digital health ventures – including Qcentive (acquired by Apertiva) – held executive roles at payer organizations, and served as a trusted advisor to VC and PE investors, payer and provider institutions, state governments, and Fortune 500 health and IT services firms. As Chief Strategy Officer at Current Health, Pilkington will be responsible for accelerating the company’s scalability, growth, and overall commercial success.

As Chief Customer Officer, Joyce will lead Implementation, Customer Success, and Support at Current Health. Her role will accelerate the time it takes for customers to build or expand new care models, harnessing Current Health’s clinical expertise, evidence-based care pathways, and experienced delivery team. Joyce joins Current Health from HealthcareSource, where she served as Chief Client Officer and oversaw Client Services, Support, Training, and Success. Before that, she was the VP of Client Experience at both NantHealth and NaviNet, and previously held leadership roles in Services, Operations, IT, and Marketing at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Rhode Island.

Levinsky joins Current Health from Kyruus, a patient access company. She was initially hired as Director of Marketing in May 2020 and has been promoted to VP for her proven ability to develop strategic marketing campaigns that drive commercial growth. In her new role, Levinsky will own the company’s strategic narrative and grow awareness of Current Health’s comprehensive care-at-home platform.

“I could not be more thrilled about the additions of Chris, Sarah, and Lauren to our executive team,” said Chris McCann, CEO and Co-Founder, Current Health. “As we look to scale our platform to healthcare providers and pharmaceutical companies around the world, their expertise will be invaluable in crafting sound strategies and collaborating with our growing teams to execute. This is a pivotal time in our company’s growth, and I am very proud to have the support of such an experienced and capable leadership team.”
