Ryan Hires Kyle Thompson as Principal in Transaction Tax Practice

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ryan, a leading global tax services and software provider, announced that Kyle Thompson has recently joined the Firm as Principal in the Transaction Tax practice, based in the Dallas, Texas office.

Mr. Thompson previously worked at Ryan as a senior consultant in sales and use tax. He brings more than 18 years of proven experience in sales and use tax services in the oil and gas industry.

Prior to joining Ryan, Mr. Thompson was an indirect tax senior manager in the sales and use tax practice at a large public accounting firm, serving as the energy and oil and gas market leader for indirect taxes. Mr. Thompson also developed and enhanced relationships across all levels of existing and new clients. He served as the primary liaison with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, Oklahoma Tax Commission, Louisiana Department of Revenue, and Ohio Department of Taxation.

Mr. Thompson is a Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation and is a member of The University of Oklahoma Arthur B. Adams Society. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from The University of Oklahoma Price College of Business.
