MONTRÉAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The organizers are pleased to announce that the Sweet Pharma Day’s 2nd edition, will be held on October 7, 2021, in a virtual format. This unique, invitation-only event is inviting young Canadian biotechs to submit their application for a chance to present in front of no fewer than ten large pharmaceutical companies, with the intent of developing potential collaborations or partnerships. At the end of the event, which will feature all the leading Canadian life sciences ecosystem’s stakeholders, such as venture capitalists and representatives from governments and associations, one company’s top executive will be selected as the one having made the best presentation.
Are you a biotechnology start-up or company with fewer than 25 employees and focused on innovative research and development? Do you have strong commercial potential? You can apply for the chance to be among the 16 promising Canadian biotech companies, the “Sweet 16,” who will be invited to present before these key biopharmaceutical industry stakeholders on October 7th.
How to apply: Companies must provide a 2-page executive summary and a short presentation (one set of no more than 5 slides) describing their cutting-edge technology, target indications, and points of differentiation. Application packages must be e-mailed to info@sweetpharmaday.com no later than Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. The pharmaceutical companies taking part will select the 16 participating companies, who will be notified no later than September 24, 2021.
This invitation-only event is the perfect opportunity for promising companies to network directly. The “Sweet 16” company with the best presentation will be awarded a $2,500 prize at the end of the event.
