Global Legal Law Firm: Pilot Traders, LLC, Files Lawsuit Against Tsys Merchant Solutions, LLC, in District Court, Broomfield County, Colorado, for Wrongful Termination of Processing Account, Withholding Funds, and Wrongful Placement on the MATCH List

Plaintiffs seek compensatory damages, monetary judgment, punitive damages, and all other available remedies against Defendants

SOLANA BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global Legal Law Firm, as counsel for its clients, Pilot Traders, LLC, and its principal, David Story, announced that it has filed suit against Tsys Merchant Solutions, LLC, et al., a Delaware limited liability company through Local Counsel in Colorado.

About the Case. On July 29, 2021, Pilot Traders, LLC, a Utah limited liability company, and Pilot Traders founder and CEO, David Story, (the “Plaintiffs”) filed a seven count civil suit against Tsys Merchant Solutions, LLC, and Synovus Financial Corporation, a Florida corporation, in District Court, Broomfield County, Colorado, case number 2021CV30351, for, among other state and federal violations, negligent and fraudulent misrepresentation, deceptive trade practices, and unjust enrichment (the “Complaint”).

In the Complaint, the Plaintiffs maintain that the Defendants, among other issues, have wrongfully retained reserve funds in excess of $100K belonging to Plaintiffs and have failed to properly remit those funds to the Plaintiffs under the terms and conditions of the agreement between them; the Complaint also states that the Defendants have wrongfully placed Plaintiffs on the MATCH list.

Prior to the suit, Pilot Traders and David Story attempted in good faith to resolve the matter with Tsys outside of court but Tsys proved unwilling to come to the table and remained abjectly defiant and obstinate.

Christopher R. Dryden and James C. Huber, Global Legal Law Firm partners, announced the filing of the Complaint and initiation of the legal proceedings.
