FOX News Channel Names Jacqui Heinrich White House Correspondent and Aishah Hasnie Congressional Correspondent

Peter Doocy to Continue in Current Role as White House Correspondent

 Alexandria Hoff to Serve as Washington Reporter

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--FOX News Channel (FNC) has named Jacqui Heinrich White House correspondent, announced Jay Wallace, president and executive editor of FOX News Media. In this position, Heinrich will cover President Biden’s domestic and international agenda as well as issues impacting the administration. She will report alongside FNC’s Peter Doocy, who will continue in his role as White House correspondent for the network. Additionally, Aishah Hasnie has been promoted to Congressional correspondent beginning in mid-August, while Alexandria Hoff will join FNC as a Washington based general assignment reporter in early September.

Most recently, Heinrich served as Congressional correspondent for FNC in Washington, DC. In this role, she reported from the campaign trail during the 2020 presidential cycle, providing on-the-ground coverage of the Democratic and Republican National Conventions, President Joe Biden’s inauguration and his first address to a Joint Session of Congress. While based in Washington, Heinrich covered a range of historical moments surrounding the new balance of power on Capitol Hill, including infrastructure negotiations, police reform and COVID-19 relief legislation. Heinrich is also a co-host for FOX News Audio’s The FOX News Rundown podcast.

Prior to joining FNC in 2018, she served as an anchor for FOX’s Boston affiliate (WFXT-TV) covering breaking news, including the October 2017 deadly mass shooting in Las Vegas and the trench collapse in the South End of Boston. Additionally, she served as the weekend evening anchor for KTNV-TV, the ABC affiliate in Las Vegas and worked for the NBC affiliate in Colorado Springs, where she anchored KOAA’s weekend morning programming. Heinrich is a three-time local Emmy-award winner and was named the 2017 General Assignment Reporter of the Year for the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Boston/New England Chapter. She attended the George Washington University School of International Affairs.

Hasnie most recently served as FNC’s New York-based correspondent, reporting from the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic, including on nursing homes, testing sites and mental health. In 2020, she was named a New York Woman of Impact by Variety for her coverage of the coronavirus, specifically for her report on how the pandemic impacted Muslim Americans during the Ramadan season. Additionally, Hasnie covered the protests throughout New York City following the death of George Floyd. She also followed the devastation of Hurricane Sally on the ground from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Prior to her reporting role, she served as an overnight anchor for the network.

Previously, Hasnie was an anchor and investigative reporter at WXIN-TV, the FOX affiliated television station in Indianapolis, where she helmed the 4 PM newscast First at Four. Additionally, Hasnie served as an investigative reporter and substitute anchor at CBS affiliate WANE-TV in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In this role, her enterprise reporting on voyeurism law inspired local legislation to close a loophole in the system. An Emmy-nominated journalist, her work has been recognized by the local Indiana Associated Press and the Society of Professional Journalists. Hasnie got her start in the industry at GEO-TV, an international network based in Pakistan where she was born. She received a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism from Indiana University and was named a Dick Yoakam Broadcast Journalism Scholar.

Hoff joins FNC from CBS affiliate KYW-TV in Philadelphia, where she was an integral part of the eyewitness news team for six years and an anchor for the network’s 4 PM news program, CBS3@4. Hoff led the station’s state and national election coverage, including from Wilmington, Delaware when then-candidate Biden accepted the 2020 Democratic nomination. She also broadcasted live from the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia in 2016. Prior to this, Hoff reported for ABC affiliate WHTM-TV in Pennsylvania’s state capital where her work earned a Mid-Atlantic Emmy award. She also worked as an anchor for Nexstar Media Group’s WDVM in Hagerstown, Maryland, and founded the station’s Northern Virginia Bureau. A New Jersey native, Hoff received a B.A. in journalism and political science from Quinnipiac University.
