US Tennis Association Chief Marketing Officer Amy Choyne Featured on the Impact Podcast with John Shegerian

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Amy Choyne, the Chief Marketing Officer of the United States Tennis Association, is a featured guest this week on the Impact Podcast with John Shegerian. The show is hosted by Shegerian, Chairman/CEO of ERI, the nation’s leading fully integrated IT and electronics asset disposition provider and cybersecurity-focused hardware destruction company.

As CMO, Choyne oversees all of the USTA’s marketing efforts across each of its divisions, including community tennis and its emphasis on driving the USTA mission and overall tennis participation in this country, as well as all aspects of the USTA’s professional tennis interests, most notably the US Open, which is owned and operated by the USTA.

Choyne joined the USTA from a multi-faceted retailer marketing career that included the lead senior positions at a variety of international brands, including Aeropostale, Kenneth Cole Productions, Anthropologie and Barneys New York. Her responsibilities have run through the entire marketing spectrum, from creative campaign development to strategic branding and brand imaging, as well as digital marketing development and database management. Other major brands for which Choyne served in senior marketing roles include Limited Brands, Giorgio Armani and A|X Armani Exchange.

Talking with Shegerian on the podcast, Choyne shared details about the forthcoming US Open 2021, USTA’s initiative to get more young people active and playing tennis, and how the pandemic has affected the sport overall.

“It was an honor to have Amy on our show,” said Shegerian. “As one of the most impactful executives in the world of tennis today, her efforts to preserve the legacy of the great sport of tennis and make it accessible and enjoyable for generations to come is particularly admirable.”
