Mutual Trust Life Insurance Company Names Kathleen Johnson as Regional Vice President, Northeast Region

OAK BROOKE, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mutual Trust Life Insurance Company is pleased to announce that Kathleen Johnson has been appointed as Regional Vice President, Northeast Region. In this position, Ms. Johnson is responsible for the recruitment and development of independent life insurance agencies and agents.

Ms. Johnson has over 20 years of life insurance experience serving in a variety of roles at Mutual Trust including, most recently, Manager, Sales Development. “Kathy has proven to be invaluable to our agents for her product knowledge, her understanding of our selling systems and her knowledge of the company in general. Her passion for working with agents comes through with every interaction that she has,” said Luke Cosme, Senior Vice President and Chief Distribution and Marketing Officer.

Ms. Johnson’s appointment follows the retirement of Lew Merrow who previously served in the position for 11 years. The Northeast Region includes Connecticut, District of Columbia, Delaware, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, Vermont and West Virginia.
