SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MANSCAPED, Inc. (“Manscaped” or “the Company”), the global leader in men's grooming and hygiene below-the-waist, announced the appointments of Manscaped veterans Kevin Datoo to President, and Phillip Unthank to Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Datoo steps into the role of President following nearly two years as Chief Operating Officer at Manscaped, while Mr. Unthank will fill the role of CFO after serving as Vice President of Finance at the Company. Mr. Datoo and Mr. Unthank will continue to report to Manscaped Founder and CEO Paul Tran.

Mr. Datoo brings a long record of innovation and leadership to his new role at Manscaped. In his role as COO he has overseen projects including the scaling up of D2C fulfillment capabilities to handle Manscaped’s rapid growth; the development of the Company’s core Peak Hygiene replenishment program; International deployment into over 30 countries; and the on-boarding of a deep bench of talent with cross-industry experience. Prior to joining Manscaped, Mr. Datoo was Chief Operating Officer at Dollar Shave Club (DSC), where he helped build and lead the Company from its earliest days through its $1 billion sale to Unilever. Prior to DSC, he served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Fox Interactive Media (FIM), where he was responsible for determining the strategic direction of FIM’s portfolio of leading social networking, entertainment, sports, and information sites. Datoo holds a B.S. from Swarthmore (PA) College, as well as an M.B.A. from UCLA’s Anderson School of Business.
Mr. Unthank has extensive proven experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, auditing, treasury, taxation, and finance department management. Since joining Manscaped as Vice President of Finance managing the financial team, Mr. Unthank has participated in the development and execution of the company’s strategic plan and has been a close advisor to the CEO and other executives on financial issues and business best practices. Prior to Manscaped, Mr. Unthank was Vice President of Finance and Accounting at NP Digital & NP Accel, a privately-owned company where he created the finance and accounting function. Prior to NP Digital & NP Accel, he served as Senior Director of Financing and Accounting for NIXON INC., where he oversaw all financial functions of the company with financial operations spanning the US, France, Australia, HK, and Japan. He has an M.B.A. from Arizona State University, in addition to a B.S. from Plymouth University (UK) and a BA of Law (LLB) from Nottingham Trent University (UK).
