DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Rachio, the industry leading efficient watering company, has today announced the recent appointment of Kim Sentovich as Chief Executive Officer. She joins the company amidst a record year of growth in 2020, which saw a major uptick in sales, and continued momentum into 2021 with the ongoing focus on the home. In addition to Rachio’s growth, the company has furthered their mission of saving water, with customers collectively saving over 36 billion gallons of water last year and saving 40 billion gallons on average per year and counting.

At Home Depot, she started as the Merchant, Paint and Decor Departments, eventually becoming the Regional VP of Operations after eight years. Following that, she led the Pacific Division at Walmart as an SVP, managing a division of over 300 stores. Now as the CEO of Rachio, she hopes to see more women in the C-suite and in boardrooms, and to see women inspire each other to achieve their goals, within and outside of the workplace. Outside of Rachio, she serves on the Board of Directors for WRAP (WRAP), One Stop Systems (OSS), and for the Children’s Hospital of Orange County. She is also an Advisory Council Member for the George Mason University Center for Retail Transformation, a Member of the University of California CEO Roundtable, and an Executive-in-Residence at Miramar Venture Partners.
