AM Best to Lead Session on Insurance Fundamentals at IMCA Annual Conference

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best’s Andrea Keenan will conduct an informational session on insurance fundamentals at the Insurance Marketing and Communications Association’s annual conference, which will be held virtually June 22-24, 2021. Keenan’s one-hour, interactive session is titled, “Who Makes Up the Insurance Market and How Do They Interact?” It is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. (EDT) on June 22.

Keenan, executive vice president and chief strategy officer of AM Best Rating Services, will break down the role of agents, brokers, managing general agents and other market participants in order to give attendees a clearer understanding of the various industry players and how they fit together.

The Insurance Marketing and Communications Association (IMCA) is the oldest association for insurance marketing and communications professionals in North America with roots tracing back to 1921. The organization represents over 120 companies, including the industry’s top five property/casualty writers. Members include senior level management and professional staff working in the areas of corporate communications, advertising, public relations, marketing communications, marketing and sales promotion, marketing research and technology.
