Nationally Acclaimed International Studies Charter School Coming to Broward County

A 6-12 Tuition-Free Public Charter School from an Award-Winning Network

HOLLYWOOD, Fla.--()--International Studies Academy (ISA), sister school to International Studies Charter Middle and High School in Miami, is coming to Broward County. Opening this Fall for students in grades 6 through 12, ISA is a tuition-free public charter school offering students dual language instruction in Spanish, Italian, and French. Hebrew will also be offered as an elective.

The program was founded in 2004 by the ministries of education from the French, Italian, and Spanish Consulate. ISA offers its students a muti-cultural, multi-lingual comprehensive education in each respective language Students graduate receiving a US high school diploma in conjunction with either a Spanish, French, or Italian diploma.

The essence of International Studies Academy is captured in the tagline, “A multilingual, multicultural, college preparatory education.” This theme speaks to the accomplishments of the students at the existing school. ISA values the importance of balancing academics, athletics and activities, a richly diverse community, and traditional values with progressive approaches.

The model is a two time National Blue Ribbon School designee and has been listed in the Top 10 Public High Schools in Florida and Top 100 schools in the nation for the last ten years by US News and World Report.
