Milldam Public Relations Establishes West Coast Presence with Opening of Los Angeles Office

New office in Beverly Hills, CA will enable Milldam to serve the burgeoning tech community throughout Greater Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Milldam Public Relations, a full-service public relations firm, announced today the next step in its strategic expansion with the establishment of a new West Coast office in Beverly Hills, California.

Originally founded in Concord, Massachusetts, Milldam Public Relations has been instrumental in providing strategic communications for technology companies since 2005. This will be the company’s second location, aside from their founding location in Massachusetts. Located on the third floor the Wilshire Beverly Center at 9465 Wilshire Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90212, this new site will serve as the company’s primary presence for the Western United States, enabling Milldam to better serve its West Coast client base, while meeting the demand for public relations services from Los Angeles’ tech community.

Milldam’s President and Founder Adam Waitkunas is leading this growth in the new office. Having entered the public relations industry in 2001, Waitkunas has more than twenty years of experience in partnering with small and midsize companies to develop communication strategies that promote, enhance, and protect brands.

For the last three years, Milldam has been working with Buena Park, CA-based Data Specialties Inc (DSI), a provider of data center design/build services. Milldam has helped the company craft compelling content to engage current customers and partners, as well as increase the company’s brand awareness and credibility. “Milldam Public Relations has provided us with valuable content from blogs to bylines over the last three years,” said Sharon Tye, Director of Marketing, at DSI. “We have come to rely on Milldam to drive DSI’s strategic communications strategy across an array of platforms.”

Recently joining Waitkunas in Milldam’s new office are interns Olivia DiFilippo and Amanda Brooks. Both interns are students at the University of Southern California, majoring in Public Relations. DiFilippo and Brooks will work in tandem with Waitkunas in the Beverly Hills office to increase Milldam’s client base in the Greater Los Angeles area, while continuing to deliver strategic public relations services to its current client base.

“Over the last number of years, Los Angeles has seen an uptick in technology companies,” said Adam Waitkunas. “As the tech space continues to grow in Los Angeles, Milldam will help fill the gap in specialized and cost-effective public relations. Companies in places like Silicon Beach are finding permanent homes in Southern California, and Milldam is well-positioned to meet their strategic communications needs.”

The nine-story Wilshire Beverly Center building is ENERGY STAR® certified, and was designed by architect Victor Gruen and was once home to the largest Bank of America branch office in the nation. Underneath the building, there are three levels of subterranean parking, once meant to enable 4,000 people to live there for fourteen days in the event of a nuclear attack during the Cold War.
