HKW Announces Internal Promotion to Enhance M&A Strategy

Michael Terrell strengthens the firm’s abilities in the Business Services and Health & Wellness sectors

INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--HKW, an Indianapolis-based middle-market private equity firm, is announcing today Michael Terrell’s promotion to Vice President, effective immediately. Mr. Terrell joined HKW in 2018 as an associate working on the Financial Analysis team collaborating with transactions, operations, and investor relations teams. His responsibilities include evaluating new investment opportunities, due diligence oversight, growth initiatives for portfolio companies, and execution of platform and add-on transactions.

Prior to joining HKW, Mr. Terrell worked at Brown Gibbons Lang & Company in Chicago, where he gained substantial experience working on middle-market deals. He earned an MBA, JD, and BS in Business from Indiana University and while in school, interned at HKW. He currently serves on the board of directors for several HKW portfolio companies, including Brant InStore, TRSB, and Urban Armor Gear.
