MacQueen Equipment Acquires Allegiant Emergency Services

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MacQueen Equipment, a Rotunda Capital Partners portfolio company, through its MacQueen Emergency division, has acquired Allegiant Emergency Services Inc., a leading personal safety and firefighting equipment dealer in South Dakota.

This move is part of a major South Dakota expansion for MacQueen Emergency. MacQueen is currently the exclusive Pierce® fire apparatus dealer in the state and has recently added mobile parts and service offerings to support fire departments across South Dakota.

The acquisition of Allegiant, currently the premier MSA®/GLOBE® dealer in the state, will make it easier for local departments to access apparatus, service and firefighting equipment—all from the same dealer.

“We’re excited to add Allegiant personnel and products to our team,” said MacQueen CEO Dan Gage. “Our goal is to supply firefighters in South Dakota with everything they need to keep their communities safe: the best trucks, the best breathing apparatus, the best turnout gear. We also want to enhance the level of training and service available to local fire departments. Bringing this type of quality support to South Dakota is a huge priority for us.”

Allegiant will continue to operate out of their Sioux Falls location but will be rebranded as MacQueen Emergency.

MacQueen Emergency’s South Dakota product portfolio now includes Pierce Manufacturing, Skeeter Brush Trucks, E.J. Metals, MSA, GLOBE, and Holmatro, along with many more ancillary emergency brands. Toyne Fire Apparatus, an apparatus product line previously offered by Allegiant, will no longer be available from MacQueen.
