eMaxx Appoints Former Lieutenant Governor and Insurance Commissioner Mary Taylor to Board of Directors

PEABODY, Mass.--()--eMaxx, an InsurTech commercial managing general agent specializing in alternative risk, announced the appointment of former Lieutenant Governor and Insurance Commissioner Mary Taylor of Ohio to the Board of Directors. Lieutenant Governor Taylor brings vast public accounting, insurance and public sector experience to eMaxx.

Lieutenant Governor Mary Taylor has a remarkable career of service serving as a professional executive leader with over 16 years’ experience as a Certified Public Accountant working in the private sector and over 16 years of experience serving as an elected official at the local, state and executive branches in Ohio. She served in the General Assembly, State Auditor and Lieutenant Governor. As Lieutenant Governor, she also held the position of Insurance Commissioner. Taylor attended the University of Akron, obtaining a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Master's degree in Taxation. Becoming a Certified Public Accountant, she worked for Deloitte and Touche and Bober, Markey, Fedorovich & Company in Akron. Taylor currently serves as the Vice President for Operations and Finance at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
