Insigneo Appoints New Head of Technology and Innovation

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Industry veteran Vikas Saxena, will be joining Insigneo, the Miami-based Independent Broker-Dealer and Registered Investment Advisory firm, as the company’s new Head of Technology and Innovation. In this role, he will report to Javier Rivero, Insigneo’s Chief Operating Officer. This key position has overall responsibility for Insigneo’s existing and future technology ecosystem, at a time when the company is growing rapidly and continues to execute on its vision of being the first tech-enabled US wealth management platform designed to service the needs of independent advisors and their clients globally. In his new role Vikas will also lead the firm’s innovation committee.

With significant technology roles at Itaú International Bank, State Street, Citi Bank, Standard Bank, JP Morgan Chase and Oracle, Vikas comes to Insigneo with extensive experience and deep knowledge of the financial industry from a global perspective. His exciting career has placed him in offices all over India and the United States and it was built on a solid educational foundation. Vikas has a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Finance, equivalent to an MBA, from the Indian Institute of Finance in Delhi and a Bachelor of Science degree from India’s Kumaon University. He also has numerous fintech certifications earned in both India and the United States.

Importantly, beyond working hard throughout his corporate life, Vikas still finds time for fun and is as competitive in his leisure pursuits as he is in business: he is a champion in ping pong and in chess, bringing his A Game to every situation he finds himself in.

He will also manage day-to-day operations of the Technology Team, including the new systems implementation teams and developing Insigneo’ s Technology Roadmap based on established goals.
