DataStax Astra Is Now Available in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace

Microsoft Azure customers worldwide now gain access to industry’s first open multi-cloud serverless database

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DataStax today announced the availability of DataStax Astra, the industry’s first serverless Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) for Apache Cassandra™ running in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, an online store providing applications and services for use on Azure. Enterprises can now access Astra through Microsoft's online store to quickly take advantage of Astra's global scale and zero downtime on the trusted Azure cloud platform.

DataStax Astra builds on the Apache Cassandra™ open source database and represents the industry’s first and only open, serverless, multi-cloud, database-as-a-service (DBaaS).
