Clearwater Analytics Names Marcus Ryu to Board of Directors

BOISE, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Clearwater Analytics, an industry-leading SaaS solution for automated investment data aggregation, reconciliation, accounting, and reporting, announced today that it has named technology leader and entrepreneur Mr. Marcus Ryu to its Board of Directors. Mr. Ryu joins two other recent additions to Clearwater’s Board: Mr. Jacques Aigrain and Ms. Kathleen A. Corbet.

Mr. Ryu has served as Guidewire’s Chairman of the Board of Directors since August 2019, contributing to the company’s strategy and furthering key customer and industry relationships. Since cofounding Guidewire in 2001, he has held many roles, including leading the product, marketing, sales, and services teams. Most recently, Mr. Ryu served as CEO from 2010 to 2019, leading Guidewire through its IPO in 2012. During his tenure as CEO, Guidewire became the market-leading provider of mission-critical applications to P&C insurers. Before cofounding Guidewire, he was Vice President of Strategy at Ariba and an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. Mr. Ryu currently serves on the Board of Directors of Bloomreach and Checkr and is a former Director of Procore Technologies, Cornerstone OnDemand, Mulesoft, Opower, and Brighter.
