All Points North Lodge Earns Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval

Colorado-based Behavioral Health and Wellness Provider Recognized for Its Clinical Excellence and Evidenced-Based Outcomes

LOS ANGELES--()--Colorado-based behavioral health and personal development provider, All Points North Lodge (APN Lodge), has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for Behavioral Health Care Accreditation. The Gold Seal is the Joint Commission’s highest level of accreditation, and awards prestigious third-party verification of APN’s exceptional commitment to clinical excellence and evidence-based outcomes.

The Joint Commission is one of the country’s premiere healthcare accreditation services and is recognized by a majority of U.S. state governments and numerous countries across the globe. Scores of insurance payers across the country require accreditation from the Joint Commission for a provider to be considered in-network. To earn a Gold Seal, APN participated in a rigorous and extensive review process to demonstrate compliance with behavioral healthcare standards.

“At a time when more and more patients, insurance companies and lawmakers demand increased accountability and greater safety from healthcare companies, the pressure to provide exceptional care has never been greater,” said APN President Jerry Vaccaro. “The Gold Seal is proof that APN Lodge produces that kind of care. It’s one thing to say you’re a facility that prioritizes clinical care and outcomes, but it’s quite another to have reviewers from the country’s most trusted surveyor of healthcare providers applaud your efforts. We are extremely proud of our ability to provide clinical excellence and of our dedication to evidence-based treatment and outcomes.”

Continued Validation of Clinical Excellence

Other important oversight groups have acknowledged APN’s care quality and continuous commitment to improve. The wellness company and its team of professionals hold a state of Colorado substance use disorder license, a Colorado mental health designation and now a Joint Commission accreditation.

As part of the Joint Commission’s evaluation of APN Lodge, reviewers visited areas of APN’s care and campus and conducted interviews. They inspected APN’s treatment, care, services, environment of care, and leadership. The reviewers also examined the screening procedures for the early detection of imminent harm and found zero findings of harm in Emergency Management, Environment of Care, Infection Prevention, and Control, Medication Management, Life Safety, and Information Management. Registering that few zero findings is rare.

The Joint Commission noted that 68% of APN’s clients show significant improvement, compared to roughly 3 million other treatment centers, where on average only 50% of clients show significant improvement. Additionally, APN’s client satisfaction surveys reflect high scores in almost every category and have been improving steadily over time. The center continually addresses areas for improvement based on client feedback.

“We are thrilled to receive this recognition from the Joint Commission, and the acknowledgement of our commitment to providing the highest quality experience and greatest possible outcomes for those struggling with addiction, mental health challenges and trauma,” said Vaccaro.
