Industry Leaders Join RubiconMD Board of Directors and Clinical Advisory Board

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--RubiconMD, the leading eConsult platform providing access to specialist expertise, announced that Nikia Bergan has joined the company’s Board of Directors, and Vivek Garg, MD, MBA will now serve as Chair of the Clinical Advisory Board. Dr. Garg will succeed Dave Chokshi, MD, MSc FACP, recently appointed as New York City’s Health Commissioner, in the role.

Bergan brings over two decades of health care leadership and currently serves as the President of GetWellNetwork. In her current role, she drives long-term growth strategy, as well as integration and alignment across functions and business units. Her leadership has helped guide GetWellNetwork’s most successful partnerships with health systems across the country. Before GetWellNetwork, Bergan held a variety of sales and client service leadership positions at The Advisory Board Company and Optum Insights in government, pediatrics, and international business sectors. Bergan holds a BA from Harvard.

Dr. Garg joins RubiconMD as the Chair of their Clinical Advisory Board. He will be leveraging his extensive experience as a physician and entrepreneur to ensure RubiconMD continues to innovate for primary care and its growing clinician community. Dr. Garg is the former Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of CareMore & Aspire Health. Prior to CareMore, Dr. Garg held roles as a clinical leader at both Oscar Health and One Medical. Dr. Garg holds a BA from Yale and both an MD and MBA from Harvard.
