Zipwhip and The National Black MBA Association Partner to Offer Scholarship Supporting Black Leaders of the Future

Graduate and undergraduate students are invited to apply through June 14, 2021

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Zipwhip, the leading business-texting platform in North America, and the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) today announced a scholarship for Black students pursuing a college degree.

Black men and women are vastly underrepresented today in the fields of science, mathematics, education and engineering. As a growing technology company, Zipwhip feels a sense of responsibility to help build a more equitable industry. That’s why they’ve partnered with the NBMBAA to lighten the financial burden of college for one Black student and provide resources to aid in their success as they pursue their degree.

The selected student will receive $2,000 from Zipwhip for college expenses and an annual NBMBAA student membership, which includes access to its career success network, entry-level professional development, local chapter virtual events and more.

Zipwhip will announce the recipient, as well as publish the winner’s writing submission, on the company’s blog on Monday, July 19, 2021. The student will also be contacted directly.
