Austin Browning to Join Nolan Capital

HERMOSA BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nolan Capital is pleased to announce the addition of Austin Browning to its team. Austin will serve as a Managing Director focused on private equity, real estate and other investing activities of the firm. He will assist Nolan Capital in identifying new investment opportunities and work alongside the Nolan team on the firm’s portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Nolan Capital, Austin was a Partner at Silver Rock Financial, which he joined in 2016. Silver Rock is a multibillion dollar hedge fund platform focusing on both credit and equities. Austin was responsible for the Industrials, Homebuilding, and Building Products sectors, investing across the capital structure. Austin joined Silver Rock’s predecessor company in 2014 when it functioned as the family office for Michael Milken. From 2013 to 2014, he was an Associate at Cerberus Capital Management, an investment firm based in New York, where he worked in the Private Equity Group. From 2011 to 2013, he was an Analyst with Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York, working in Leveraged Finance and Financial Sponsors within the Investment Banking Division. Austin received his Bachelor’s Degrees in both Economics and Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2011.
