Hiya Ranked #1 on Forbes’ Best Startup Employers List for 2021

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hiya, the leading call performance management cloud, has been ranked #1 on Forbes’ list of America's Best Startup Employers for 2021. This marks Hiya’s second straight year on the list after ranking #147 out of 500 employers in 2020. This award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. The full list of award recipients was announced today and can be viewed on Forbes.

“We are honored to be named the top startup employer by Forbes. I’m very proud of the team for making Hiya such a great place to work, especially considering the change and disruption of the past 12 months,” said Alex Algard, founder and CEO at Hiya. “Our employees are core to our success and they are passionate about supporting each other and delivering the best experience for our customers. We're grateful for this recognition by Forbes, especially as we continue to grow and hire aggressively this year.”

Forbes’ Best Startup Employers were selected based on 7 million data points and focused on three key factors: employee satisfaction, employer reputation, and company growth. Out of the thousands of qualified organizations in the United States, only 500 companies earned this distinction.

In addition to two consecutive years on the Forbes list, Hiya has consistently been recognized as a great place to work through other accolades. Hiya has been named one of the best companies to work for by Seattle Business Magazine and Built In Seattle for three consecutive years. Hiya was also recently named the 86th fastest-growing company in North America on Deloitte’s 2020 Technology Fast 500, ranking 21st out of 128 winning companies based in the Pacific Northwest and Silicon Valley.

Hiya plans to increase its team by more than 30% again this year and is actively hiring across the organization for positions based in Seattle, London, Budapest, and remote locations.
