eQHealth Solutions Announces Appointment of General Counsel

BATON ROUGE, La.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--eQHealth Solutions, a leader in population health management for commercial and government entities, today announced the appointment of Brooke Duncan III as General Counsel.

The expectations of General Counsel are to provide strategic guidance, consultation and support to senior leadership on a wide range of legal and associated issues involved in carrying out the mission of eQHealth Solutions. In his new position, Duncan will act as the company’s legal representative, to oversee and manage the provision of all legal services to ensure maximum protection of eQHealth’s legal rights and to maintain its operations within the limits prescribed by law.

Prior to joining eQHealth, Duncan served as a Senior Labor Partner in the Labor and Employment practice at Adams and Reese LLP and also served as a narcotics detective with the New Orleans Police Department, receiving several awards for outstanding duty. Duncan received his undergraduate degree from Vassar College and his J.D. from Tulane Law School.

A native of New Orleans, Duncan has long been active in business and community affairs. He currently serves as a director of the Metropolitan Crime Commission, the New Orleans Police and Justice Foundation, the Louisiana Civil Service League, and New Orleans Artists Against Hunger and Homelessness. He has been a trustee of Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, and has served on the boards of the Society for Human Resource Management for the New Orleans area, the Louisiana Children's Museum, the Louisiana Nature and Science Center and as chair of the Louisiana State Police Commission.
