TCW Welcomes Liz Kraninger as Chief Operating Officer

PIMCO Veteran Brings Deep Experience Across Technology, Investment Operations and Business Strategy

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The TCW Group, a global asset management firm, announced today the appointment of Liz Kraninger as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Ms. Kraninger will oversee TCW’s information technology, investment operations and various corporate functions.

Ms. Kraninger joins TCW after a 14-year tenure at PIMCO, where she has held senior roles in operations across the firm, having led teams in a number of key areas including data management, client servicing technology, and firm-wide strategic alignment. Most recently Executive Vice President and Head of Client Operations, Ms. Kraninger also previously held senior roles in business strategy and information technology.

Prior to PIMCO, Ms. Kraninger was Partner and Owner of Kraninger Consulting and Partner and Owner of Techmoney LLC, where she specialized in the implementation of a highly customized global platform for clients. She began her career at Accenture as a technology and business analyst lead for large scale technology deployments for Fortune 500 pharma and biotech companies.

Ms. Kraninger earned her Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of California Los Angeles. She is active in the Orange County community and was a top fundraiser in the area for Cycle for Survival from 2015 to 2020.
