AngMar Medical Holdings, Inc. Adds Four More Hospice Locations in Arizona, Nebraska and Texas

MANSFIELD, Texas--()--AngMar Medical Holdings, Inc. (AMH) announced today that despite all of the obstacles that 2020 presented, the company continues to expand its hospice footprint through hospice acquisitions that complement its existing home health markets. After closing three hospice acquisitions from October 2019 through June of 2020, AMH has kept their promise to continue its aggressive hospice expansion and now has seven total hospice locations that overlap their more established home health geographies. The four new hospice locations are: Midland, Texas; Omaha, Nebraska; Prescott, Arizona; and they will be operating in San Angelo, Texas, by March of 2021. The six hospice acquisitions and one de novo start-up (Prescott, Arizona) since 2019 will allow the company to support 36 percent of its home health geographies with the complementary hospice benefit. Financial terms of the acquisitions and start-up were not disclosed.

“For over 20 years, the Angels Care brand has prided itself on offering the highest quality of skilled home health to people that struggle to leave their home and continue to have difficulty managing their chronic disease,” said Mark Eddins, President of AngMar Medical Holdings, Inc. “Within the next two years, AngMar plans to have 100 percent of its home health markets supported with the hospice benefit in order to complete our vision of offering a continuum of care for the chronic diagnosed patient populations that reside within the communities we already serve.”

“This expansion of the Angels Care vision will allow Angels Care Home Health and Angels Care Hospice to better support the communities they are already invested in,” said Tony Miller, MPT, Chief Operating Officer of AngMar Medical Holdings, Inc. “Our home health disease management and specialty programs are designed to educate patients and caregivers on the importance of minimizing the progression of their chronic illness and improving their overall quality of life.”

“When the patient’s restoration or the progression of the chronic disease is no longer possible, our Angels Care Hospice teams are available to comfort patients and their caregivers through the patient’s end of life transition. This level of patient care continuity will allow the Angels Care brand to continue to experience exponential growth by being the chronic patient care solution for the physicians, hospitals, and facilities that we continue to serve and support,” Eddins added.
