Plus Appoints Former Amazon Executive Chuck Joseph to Lead Strategic Partnerships

  • Joseph joins from Amazon, where he led business development and M&As for Amazon’s Global Transportation Technology team
  • His role at Plus will focus on helping fleets integrate automated trucking into their daily operations to optimize safety, fuel efficiency, and operational benefits

CUPERTINO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Plus (formerly Plus.ai), a leading provider of self-driving truck technology, announced that Chuck Joseph, a former senior executive of Amazon’s Global Transportation Technology team, has joined the company as Vice President, Strategic Partnerships. Joseph will draw on his unique understanding of advanced transportation technologies used to operate a world-class private fleet to work closely with fleets to leverage the safety, fuel efficiency, and operational benefits offered by automated trucking.

Joseph has over 25 years of business development and leadership experience across multiple industries, having served in corporate officer and board of directors’ level capacities for technology startups and multinational Fortune 1000 enterprises. Prior to Plus, Joseph served as a senior executive in Amazon’s Middle Mile Transportation organization where he led business development and mergers and acquisition activities related to the logistics industry, including automated driving technology.

Chuck Joseph is the latest senior addition to the Plus team. Robert Dingli, an automotive industry veteran and functional safety expert, joined Plus from Tesla’s Autopilot Autonomous Vehicle Team where he oversaw the development and promotion of functional safety, integration, and controls architecture. Dingli has also held key engineering roles at Lyft and Ford, and now leads vehicle engineering and functional safety efforts at Plus.
