HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jonathan Horowitz has joined MACCO Restructuring Group, LLC (MACCO) as a Managing Director, to lead its restaurant and hospitality practice, providing advice and guidance in restaurant and bar development, operational improvement, and distressed situations.
“Nationwide, 2020 has seen the restaurant and hospitality space decimated by the restrictions placed on every establishment as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. To assist these struggling businesses and help them survive, recover, or improve, it became clear that MACCO needed to bolster its existing group of experts with additional restaurant operations professionals who understand the industry from the ground up. I’m delighted Jonathan has joined us and will lend the combination of his bar and restaurant concept development and operations experience, combined with his legal background, to the work of assisting ailing businesses,” said Drew McManigle, MACCO’s Founder and CEO. McManigle stated, “In keeping with our mission to ‘put out the fire and protect the stakeholders from getting burned,’ Jonathan’s contributions – whether assisting mom and pop pizzerias, large restaurant franchisees, or four-star resort operations to improve profitability or recuperate – is foundational to our mission and this crucial business segment’s recovery…I mean who doesn’t want to get back to regularly eating out?”
