Dave Ramsey Named 2020 Radio Executive of the Year by Radio Ink Magazine

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Despite the pandemic, 2020 was a strong year for Dave Ramsey and Ramsey Solutions. Radio Ink recognized Dave Ramsey as the 2020 Radio Executive of the Year, where he joins the ranks of top radio group CEOs across the country from networks like iHeart Media and Cumulus.

Ramsey Solutions has remained a steady force in the radio industry during a tough year. It found a way to grow revenue for its advertisers, and the company’s revenue grew overall year-over-year. The Dave Ramsey Show provides commonsense tips about money and life – something that millions of listeners have needed – and is the third largest nationally syndicated talk radio show in the country.

“Dave Ramsey is probably the sharpest mind in the room – and possibly on the air,” said Deborah Parenti, EVP and Publisher of Radio Ink. “He is an incredibly smart businessman who has built a hugely successful and diversified organization. And he’s a talented broadcaster who counsels scores of faithful listeners with his unique blend of financial advice, support, and when necessary, a frank and firm reality check.”

The Ramsey Network started with The Dave Ramsey Show over 20 years ago. The Dave Ramsey Show is now syndicated on 600 radio stations, has a combined listenership of 16 million people and the Network has a total of eight shows and three podcasts with seven Ramsey Personalities.
