Tech Data Appoints Kristin Johnsen to Board of Directors

Johnsen becomes third independent member of the company’s board.

CLEARWATER, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tech Data today announced it has appointed seasoned technology executive Kristin Johnsen to the company’s board of directors. Johnsen brings more than 30 years of executive leadership and technology industry expertise and will be Tech Data’s third independent director.

Johnsen’s career includes more than 17 years with Microsoft, where she served in a variety of senior leadership positions, most recently as Corporate Vice President, Enterprise Services. Prior to Microsoft, she served in senior roles at Zkey, CarParts.com, and McKinsey & Company. Johnsen also serves on the board of directors for Access Information Management and is a member of the Engineering Advisory Board at the University of California, Berkeley College of Engineering. She earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Berkeley, and master’s degree at Northwestern University.
