Power & Tel Officially Relocates World Headquarters

Communication Supply Chain industry leader now operates out of its nearly 250,000 square-foot Piperton facility

MEMPHIS, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Power & Tel, a North American leader in the communication distribution industry, officially began operations out of its headquarters in Piperton effective January 1, 2021. The company’s office, located at 200 Keough Drive, is situated on 28 acres and is large enough to accommodate the company’s growing Memphis-based workforce, host companywide meetings and expand distribution to meet growing client needs.

Creating a facility that made the most use of increased space was essential for Power & Tel. Custom design features including LED light fixtures and an innovative air filtration system meet the desires of its modern economic and sustainable approach, while its larger workspace and implementation of electric car charging stations account for future growth and technological progress.

“Our ultimate goal was to create a facility to serve our expanding presence in the communication technology space,” Sims said. “As we continue to grow, pursue new partnerships and enter new markets, our headquarters will be able to amply accommodate that growth.”

Power & Tel’s headquarters in Piperton houses much of its sales and office staff, and a large share of its distribution space. It also has offices throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. Its previous headquarters will be donated to Memphis-based nonprofits and community businesses.
